EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE

DUE TO INCREDIBLE AND SUDDEN ECONOMIC HARDSHIP FOR THE FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WE SERVE IN CHICAGO AND CICERO, INNER CITY IMPACT IS PROVIDING WEEKLY FOOD ASSISTANCE TO 50 – 70 FAMILIES IN NEED. WE PLAN TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY FOOD ASSISTANCE AND OTHER AID TO FAMILIES AND EXPAND THE PROGRAM TO AS MANY AS 100 FAMILIES PER WEEK AS THE LORD PROVIDES FUNDING AND OPPORTUNITY TO DO SO. OUR FOCUS IS ON ICI FAMILIES WE KNOW HAVE ECONOMIC HARDSHIP AND FAMILIES WITH WHICH WE HAVE A LONG-STANDING, GOSPEL-CENTERED RELATIONSHIP.

Other Program Updates

• Until further notice all in person gathering and events are postponed. Decisions regarding summer day camps and camping trips are TBD.
• After school clubs and Bible studies have been moved to a virtual online format. Students and parents should contact their assigned leaders for details or questions.
• K-12th grade students are invited to join our virtual clubs. Please leave names, ages and contact information below.
• We are attempting to help families who have immediate need for food assistance. Our ability to help in this way is dependent on limited resources and we may not be able to fill every request. If you would like to request assistance with groceries or a food delivery, please contact the team member that works with your child’s age group.
• If you or a family member would like assistance in walking through an online application for unemployment benefits or other assistance, please contact the team member that works with your child’s age group.
