Building Rentals at ICI

Looking for a flexible, affordable space for your next event?

The ICI Cicero Center offers building rentals for community events, celebrations, trainings, and group gatherings. Our facility supports a wide range of uses while remaining rooted in ICI’s mission and ministry.

Located in Cicero, Illinois, just outside Chicago, our facility offers a convenient option for individuals, churches, organizations, and community groups seeking space for short-term use.

Please note: Building rentals are available only at our Cicero Center. The Humboldt Park Center is located within a partner church facility and is not available for outside building rentals.

Accessibility & Building Access

The ICI Cicero Center is fully wheelchair accessible.

  • An interior elevator connects all three floors of the building

  • A chair lift is available to assist with the four steps immediately inside the front entrance

Available Spaces

First Floor

Our first floor offers a large, flexible environment ideal for group gatherings, meetings, and activities. This level includes:

  • A large multipurpose room with tables and recreation features, including air hockey, carpetball, ping pong, and a pool table

  • Multiple classrooms are suitable for breakout groups or smaller gatherings

  • Men’s and women’s restrooms

  • Additional men’s and women’s restrooms with shower access (available upon request)

  • A full kitchen, equipped with:

    • Convection oven and standard oven

    • Two double-door refrigerators

    • One single-door refrigerator

    • Two single-door freezers

    • Beverage fill sink

    • Three-bay dishwashing sink

    • Multiple banks of countertop and work surfaces

Third Floor

Our third floor includes:

  • A gymnasium-style space suitable for group activities, classes, or meetings (Note: ceiling height is not suitable for basketball)

  • Men’s and women’s restrooms

  • A serving kitchen, equipped with:

    • Double-door refrigerator

    • Warming cabinets

    • Counter space for serving or prep

    • Three-bay sink

Second Floor (Currently unAvailable)

Our second floor is currently under construction and unavailable for rental at this time. Once completed, this level will include:

  • An auditorium-style gathering space

  • Multipurpose classrooms

  • Men’s and women’s restrooms

Additional Equipment & Add-Ons

Depending on availability, rentals may request access to additional equipment, including:

  • Projectors and screens

  • Sound systems

  • Rolling TVs and presentation equipment

Please include any equipment needs in your rental request so we can confirm availability.

Rental Policies & Guidelines

To ensure our facility is used responsibly and in alignment with ICI’s mission, the following policies apply:

  • Facility use is limited to individuals or groups whose activities align with ICI’s Statement of Faith and mission.

  • The building may not be used for activities that contradict ICI’s faith-based values or moral teachings

  • No smoking, alcohol, or drugs are permitted on ICI property

  • If these policies are violated, ICI reserves the right to discontinue facility use immediately without refund

Rental Fees & Deposits

  • Usage fee: $60 per hour

    • Prorated to $30 for 30 minutes if needed

  • Rental time is based on the contracted start time, not arrival time

    • Please include all setup and teardown time in your request

Deposit & Payment Details

  • A $200 cash deposit is required to hold your rental date

  • The deposit is applied toward your total rental cost

  • Any remaining balance is due in cash at the conclusion of your event

  • If damage occurs, the deposit may be held to cover costs

  • Deposits are forfeited for:

    • No-shows

    • Cancellations within two weeks of the scheduled event

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. The building includes an interior elevator connecting all three floors, as well as a chair lift at the front entrance.

  • Building rentals are available at our Cicero Center only. Our Humboldt Park location is not available for rentals.

  • Yes. Outside food and catering are permitted. Kitchen access may be available depending on the space reserved. Please include details about food service in your rental request.

    Alcohol is not permitted on ICI property, including beer, wine, or spirits, regardless of the type of event.

  • Yes, tables and chairs are available depending on your event and space selection.

  • Yes. Site visits may be scheduled based on staff availability.

  • No. All requests are reviewed based on availability, ministry scheduling, and alignment with ICI policies.
