Life on Life
Internships at ICI offer life-changing opportunities with lasting impact. Working alongside our full-time staff and volunteers, interns gain hands-on experience in urban ministry while supporting after-school clubs, camping trips, home visits, day camps, Bible studies, and life-on-life discipleship with children and youth.
Internships are designed for college students and young adults seeking practical experience through faith-based nonprofit work with children and youth.
Custom internships may be available based on a student’s interests, academic requirements, and ICI’s current needs.
Internship Position Types
We offer internship opportunities during the fall, spring, and summer semesters, all of which support ICI's ongoing work with children and youth in urban neighborhoods. We welcome students from a variety of majors, including children’s or youth ministry, urban ministry, social work, education, communications, and business. Interns serve alongside ICI staff through programs and outreach across the Chicagoland area.
