Investing in the Next Generation of Leaders
ICI’s Leadership Development Program is a long-term, faith-centered investment in youth who are growing in responsibility, character, and spiritual maturity. Through life-on-life discipleship, mentorship, and increasing leadership responsibility, students are equipped to serve others and lead with integrity in their homes, churches, and communities.
Leadership development at ICI is not a short-term initiative—it is a multi-stage process that walks with students over many years, shaping both their faith and their future.
How Leadership Development Gifts Are Used
Gifts designated for Leadership Development help support students as they grow through multiple stages of responsibility and discipleship, including:
Life-on-life mentorship and small group Bible studies
Leadership training and character development
Youth internships that build responsibility and work experience
College scholarships for qualified students pursuing Christian education
Ongoing mentorship and support through high school and college years
These investments allow students to grow steadily, with trusted adults walking alongside them through critical seasons of life.
Why Leadership Development Matters
Leadership at ICI is formed through consistency, accountability, and example. Students learn that leadership is not about recognition, but about service, faithfulness, and responsibility.
By investing in Leadership Development, donors help create pathways for students to mature spiritually, develop practical skills, and prepare for future roles in church, ministry, and their communities. Many ICI alumni point to these relationships as the turning point that shaped the direction of their lives.
